Past Events International Conferences AAGS organises an annual international conference to bring together scholars from all over the world to discuss issues of global relevance to the Asia Pacific community. These conference rotate from country to country every year, and are usually held somewhere in the Asia Pacific region. Regional Forums AAGS also sometimes organises smaller, one day, Regional Forums for members in one country and these are can be organised by regional AAGS representatives. In the past these have been exclusively held in Japan as most of the senior executives are based there, but AAGS encourages other Regional Representatives to do so. These are usually to showcase recent research conducted by AAGS members, but are open to all. National Seminars AAGS Regional Representatives can also organise National Seminars on a specific topic and these are open to all to attend and present. To date only Pakistan has held such a National Seminar although AAGS encourages other Regional Representatives to do so. For all presentations using slideware containing images and other multimedia creations we advise presenters to make sure that all such contents are properly licensed for such usage, and that these contents are properly referenced in the slideshow. We recommend Creative Commons and Wikimedia Commons for finding such multimedia materials.
